Lady Tigers place sixth at Point University Skyhawk Invitational to start spring

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — The first tournament of the spring ended with a sixth place finish for Campbellsville University women's golf as the Lady Tigers competed in the Point University Skyhawk Invitational.

The Lady Tigers shot 337 and 335 as a team, while Southeastern University won the tournament with rounds of 300 and 295.

Gracie Parrott led the way by shooting 84 and 78 in the two-round tournament to finish tied for 29th. Fellow freshman April Houk shot 81-85 finishing tied for 36th.
 
Cortney Withrow and Paige Ferguson both finished tied for 42nd. Withrow fires 85-87 while Ferguson shot 87-85.
 
Rounding out the Lady Tigers was Abigail Coffey firing 95-89 finishing tied for 55th
 
The Callaway Gardens was playing pretty tough overall as on two players had sub-par rounds with the average overall being 86.8 per 18 holes. 
 
Campbellsville now has only one day to prepare for the Lawrence tech Spring Break Invitational at Grand National Golf Club in Opelika, Ala.
