Lady Tiger trio earn NAIA All-American honors to cap off stellar seasons

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Madison Faulkner, Savannah Gregory, and Caitlin Hall as members of All-American teams for the 2019-20 season.
 
After leading the Lady Tigers to a 29-3 overall record, the trio helped Campbellsville to receive a No. 1-seed in the NAIA tournament and win the Mid-South Regular Season Championship.
 
Madison Faulkner led the group with first-team honors, while Savannah Gregory was selected to the second-team, and Caitlin Hall was named as an honorable mention.
 
Throughout the season, Faulkner led Campbellsville in scoring, averaging 17.50 points per game, while she was able to rank ninth in the NAIA in total points scored with 560.
 
Faulkner was consistently able to put up high scoring margins for the Lady Tigers as she reached double digit scoring in 31 games, while adding nine 20+ point outings.
 
She was also able to add 5.8 rebounds per contest.
 
Gregory received her second second-team honor after being named an All-American a year ago.
 
Gregory followed Faulkner's lead in scoring with 13.8 points per game.
 
Outside of scoring, Gregory showed extreme defense prowess, recording 95 steals and pulling down 6.0 rebounds to lead CU. Her steal numbers ranked her 12th among NAIA competitors, as well as helped lead her to back-to-back MSC Defensive Player of the Year honors.
 
Caitlin Hall received her mention after putting together 167 assists on the season to rank eighth in the NAIA. Hall was also able to add 7.0 points per game to her totals, with 38 three-point baskets.
 
This trio was able to pass numerous career milestones for Campbellsville this season as Faulkner and Gregory both passed the 1,000-point mark. Faulkner closed the season with 1,494, while Gregory finished with 1,209.
 
Gregory also passed the 300-career steal mark, finishing the year with 323.
 
Hall cemented her case as one of the best point guards to come through the Lady Tiger program, after accumulating her 500th career assist. Hall currently boasts 588 assists to rank third all-time in the Lady Tiger record book.
 
The field of student-athletes selected was very balanced with the most one team had a selection was Campbellsville (Ky.) and Westmont (Calif.) with three.

There were 16 student-athletes on first, second and third-team that have received their first All-America selection in the top three teams. There were also a total of 52 honorable mentions.

All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and comprises a First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Team. There are 10 members on each of the first three All-America teams.
