Tigers take back to the court after one-game layoff to host Life

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's basketball team will get back on the court of the Powell Athletic Center when they host Life University this Saturday for a 2 p.m. ET tip.
 
Campbellsville University Athletics' policy for spectators remains that no outside attendees are allowed inside of the building for basketball games, only teams, officials, and game staff are permitted inside of the Powell Athletic Center.
 
BROADCAST INFORMATION
  • Matt Payton, the voice of Tiger basketball, will be on the call for the broadcast.
  • WLCU-TV and radio will cover the game locally on Comcast Channel 10 and 88.7 FM The Tiger.
  • Fans can watch online at www.campbellsvilletigers.com/watch and also on their streaming apps - Roku, Amazon FireStick, and Apple TV - by searching CU Sports Network.
 
TIGER NOTES
  • Campbellsville is looking to break a four-game losing streak as they've moved to 6-7 overall and 4-6 in Mid-South Conference play.
  • In their last game against Freed-Hardeman, the Tigers struggled from the field on their way to an 85-77 loss to the Lions last Monday, despite the 21 points from Taiveyhon Mason and 19 from Max Reyes.
  • Mason ranks in the top 40 individually in the NAIA in six different statistical categories including No. 22 in steals (29), No. 27 in assists (64), and No. 35 in points per game (20.7).
 
SCOUTING LIFE
  • The Running Eagles are 4-3 on the season but have played very sparingly, only participating in one game since Nov. 21 and that was back on Dec. 19 when they dropped a 107-105 game to University of the Cumberlands.
  • LU has five different players averaging double figures that have played in more than a single game this season, led by the 19 points per game scored by Isaiah Hart.
  • Hart has only played in three of the team's seven games as the leading scorer with all seven games played is Lorenzo Ferrell who has a 15.3 points per game average.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
  • CU will hit the road next week after their game against Life when they will head down to Tennessee next Thursday and Saturday to face Freed-Hardeman and Bethel on Jan. 21 and 23.
