LADY TIGER NOTES
  • The Lady Tigers rank No. 1 for the second-straight NAIA Coaches' Poll as the NAIA just released their latest poll on Wednesday.
  • Campbellsville is coming off of a 69-57 win over Bethel University last Saturday to move to 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Mid-South Conference.
  • The highlight of the game came from junior Madison Sheppard as she made her first career start and went on to score a career-high 17 points in a career-high 31 minutes.
  • CU struggled from three-point range as they finished the game 4-for-18 (22.2%), which may have had part to do with Lexy Lake being out of the lineup due to COVID-19 return to play protocols.

Campbellsville Lady Tigers (9-0, 5-0 MSC) vs. Pikeville Bears (11-5, 7-5 MSC)
Thursday, Jan. 28, 4:30 p.m. ET – Powell Athletic Center, Campbellsville, Ky.
  • Thursday's game will be a rematch of a game played in Pikeville on Dec. 18 when the Bears gave CU one of their toughest tests of the early part of the season, with Campbellsville coming out on top 84-74.
  • Since, that game, UPike has gone 5-3 and will come into the game on Thursday on a two-game winning streak with wins over Cumberland and Martin Methodist.
  • Forward Brianna Burbridge leads the Bears with a 15.6 points per game as she also scored a game-high 26 points against CU on Dec. 18 while grabbing eight rebounds.

Saturday, Jan. 30, 2:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. CT – Smith-Kirk Court, Henderson, Tenn.

  • FHU had been struggling during that stretch when they first met Campbellsville but are currently on a two-game winning streak with wins against Martin Methodist and Bethel before they face Georgetown College on Thursday.
  •  Alyssa LeMay (16.6) and Caroline Chambers (12.9) lead the way offensively for the Lions as the tandem were the only players to finish in double figures on Jan. 11.
  • In the previous matchup, Freed-Hardeman was without point guard KJ White as white is the team's leader in assists with 62 on the season while also averaging 10.1 points per game.

Monday, Feb. 1, 5:30 p.m. ET – Connor Convocation Center, Crestview Hills, Ky.
  • The first matchup between these two budding rivals this season, the Saints will come into the game ranked No. 4 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll as they will head into Thursday at 17-1 to be the Lady Tigers' first top-10 matchup of the season.
  • In their three meetings last season, Campbellsville won the two regular season matchups by single digits as the Saints exacted revenge with an 11-point win in the Mid-South Conference Tournament semifinals.
  • Guard Zoie Barth is the leading scorer for the Saints at 13.8 points per game with 61 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game after being named the 2019-20 MSC Freshman of the Year.
