Kieh's 82nd minute goal helps the Lady Tigers bounce past Life University Saturday afternoon

MARIETTA, GA – Lady Tigers were able to convert on a late goal in the second half to win 1-0 over Life University.

Campbellsville and Life were deadlocked in the first half. Each club was matching each other almost stat for stat.

At the start of the second half, the Lady Tigers came out storming with shots. They were able to collect 14 total shots on the day.

In the 82nd minute, a ball from Lina Berrah came into the box from the wing. Olja Ivanovic was able to flick that into traffic in the box where Angeline Kieh was able to finish.

Late in the match, Rebecca Lilley had a chance at a ball that was played to her but the call was offsides and diminished the goal.

Campbellsville was able to have eight of their 14 shots be on frame while Life was only able to have four total on target.

Doeschka Birnage kept the Lady Tigers out of trouble with four key saves over the course of the game.

"I'm proud of the girls today," said Coach Adams. "They were able to overcome obstacles with travel and having to play on grass for the first time this season."

The Lady Tigers now improve their record to 8-1 overall. They will now travel to Georgetown College Wednesday October 6th for a battle of the Tigers.
