Conference wins lands Lady Tiger Basketball at top of NAIA Coaches’ Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lady Tiger Basketball has climbed atop the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll in its second iteration with a 5-0 record on the year thus far.
 
Since the first poll of the season, Campbellsville has defeated two conference opponents in the University of Pikeville Bears and the University of the Cumberlands Patriots. Their most recent victory was a convincing one over Bryant and Stratton College.
 
The Lady Tigers maintain four players averaging double-digit points on the season: Ashlee McGeorge (14), Courtney Pritchett (11.3), and Faith Lake (10.7), and Kaitlynn Wilks (10.5). McGeorge leads the team in rebounds per game with seven and three players are averaging four assists or greater: Lauren Lee (4.8), Bailey Pedigo (4), and Maddie Boyle (4).
 
There are several Mid-South Conference teams are present in the coaches' poll. Thomas More University climbs to 3rd from 4th. Lindsey Wilson College moves from 16th to receiving votes joining both Bethel University and Georgetown College.
 
The Lady Tigers will next be at home taking on the Freed-Hardeman University Lions on Thursday December 2nd at 6 p.m. ET.
