Softball doubleheader against Union is cancelled due to poor field conditions

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Due to field conditions at Campbellsville's Hord Field and Union Field in Barbourville, the Lady Tigers and Union Bulldogs' doubleheader has been cancelled for Tuesday afternoon. 
 
The original schedule was to have a doubleheader at Hord Field in Campbellsville but it was moved to Union College on Monday morning. It was released by Union College that field conditions weren't favorable to play on Tuesday due to the winter storms the last few weeks. 
 
With the cancellations on Monday, that makes six games so far this season that have been cancelled or postponed for weather reasons. 
 
The Lady Tigers are now scheduled to open Mid-South Conference play this weekend in Pulaski, Tenn. at Martin Methodist College. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Friday and 12 p.m. ET on Saturday – both doubleheaders.
