CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – A little over a week away from the beginning of the altered 2021 Mid-South Conference schedule, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team will hit the road for a 2 p.m. ET match at Asbury University on Saturday.
Per Asbury's visitor policy: "There will be NO spectators allowed from visiting teams. Only spectators from the Asbury University campus community (students, faculty, staff and parents/guardians of participating AU student-athletes) will be allowed inside the gymnasium for Volleyball and Basketball games. All permissible spectators will be temperature screened upon entry to the Luce Center."

LADY TIGER NOTES
- Campbellsville most recently went 3-0 at the Vette City Classic in Bowling Green, Ky. as they defeated three Mid-South Conference opponents in non-conference matches.
- With their individual performances, setter Paige Merrick and libero Katie Morin earned the Setter and Defender of the Week honors this past Monday with Merrick also earning the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week.
- On the attack, the Lady Tigers used a steady does of Sonia Flendrich, Sutton Mason, and Hannah McGill on the outside with Stela Velinova and Taylor Weirich rotating in the middle and Sophie Ball playing on the back row to see success last week.
SCOUTING ASBURY
- The Eagles played their conference regular season in the fall to a 4-11 record as this match against CU will be one of only two matches they compete in during the spring.
- Their only wins of the fall were against Oakland City, Carlow, and Alice Lloyd twice as they finished 2020 with back-to-back losses to Indiana-Kokomo and Brescia.
- They had four players with over 80 kills in their 15 matches led by 99 from Shelby Larson then 87 from Bethany Fye, 86 from Ashton Johnson, and 80 from Erin Sexauer.
LOOKING AHEAD
- Campbellsville will move ahead to Mid-South Conference play on Feb. 15 when they start with three-straight road matches that week against Georgetown, Martin Methodist, and Life.
