Tigers roll past Lincoln College holding Lynx to only six total kills entire match

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The weekend started in high fashion for Campbellsville University men's volleyball as the Tigers swept Lincoln College on Saturday morning in straight sets, 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

The fourth-ranked Tigers were led by Jakob Zum Kolk's 10 kills on 18 attacks along with nine digs. He also pitched in four aces from the service line – which was second-most for CU this morning.

Campbellsville (6-2) held the Lynx (1-6) to hitting just -.170 from the floor and only six total kills through all three sets – which is a season-low for the Lincoln College. The Tigers on the other hand finished with 36 kills and hit .362 overall.

The 14 service aces for CU were the difference maker as it's the second-most all season in a match (20 vs. Carolina University on Jan. 22).

Campbellsville now have a few hours of rest before playing Goshen College at 4 p.m. ET. Goshen and Lincoln are set to play at 1 p.m. ET for a neutral court game.

Fans can tune into the CU Sports Network for the remaining two games at Gosser Gym.
