BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A week that finished 2-2 for the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team saw setter
Paige Merrick collect her third Mid-South Conference Setter of the Week recognition of the season.
Merrick, who has also been the Setter of the Week seven times in her three seasons, finished the four-match week for CU averaging 10 assists per set, 3.8 digs per set, and a kill per set. In each match, she finished with a double-double combing her assists and digs as she is now up to 13 double-doubles in 18 matches on the season.
The junior finished with career-high tying 60 assists against Columbia International last Tuesday while finishing the following three matches with 26, 38, and 48 assists. She also had at least one ace in all four matches and assisted on four different blocks throughout the week.
Merrick and the Lady Tigers will be back on the court tonight as they take on Life University in Marietta, Ga. before heading straight to Pulaski, Tenn. for a road match at Martin Methodist.
