Carrothers, Corley, Pringle and Reese named to MSC Bluegrass Division Teams

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University football has four named to the Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Teams, officials announced on Thursday. 
 
The Tigers were represented by First-Team selections, Jon Carrothers and Micah Corely, and Second-Team selections Tate Pringle and Kobe Reese.
 
Carrothers and Corley led the defensive core in 2020-21. Carrothers finished the year with 76 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. His 10.9 tackles per game ranked No. 9 in the NAIA. His tackles ranked third in the MSC.

Corley finished with 44 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and seven sacks. The nine tackles for loss and seven sacks led the Tigers and the sacks ranked eighth in the NAIA. The sacks also ranked first in the MSC. 
 
Tate Pringle earned a second team mention after leading the Tigers receiving core with 529 yards and eight touchdowns in six games played. He finished averaging 88.2 yards receiving per game. His 6.3 receptions per game ranked eighth in the NAIA and second in the MSC, 88.2 yards per game ranked 15th in the NAIA and third in the MSC, and his 38 receptions ranked No. 22 and fifth in the MSC.
 
Kobe Reese also earned a second team nod after playing in six games and finishing the year with 23 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Reese defended five passes this year – breaking all five up. He also forced two fumbles and recovered another helping the CU secondary.
