Geralds paces Lady Tigers at MSC Spring Championship sitting in ninth place; Lady Tigers are third

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — Connor Geralds shot a five-over 77 and is only five shots off the lead at the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Spring Championship hosted at Cumberland Bear Trace. 
 
Campbellsville as a team is tied for third after shooting 322 as a team – which is 19 strokes off the leaders from University of the Cumberlands (303). Lindsey Wilson College is second after shooting 312 as a team. The Lady Tigers are tied with Cumberland University for third. 
 
Geralds was one of three Lady Tigers in the Top 14 as she is currently ninth in the 54-golfer field. Abigail Coffey is tied for 11th after shooting 79 and Paige Ferguson is tied for 14th after firing an 82. 
 
The reigning MSC Golfer of the Week, Gracie Parrott, struggled in the opening round firing a 12-over 84 and is tied for 18th. Cortney Withrow shot an 85 and rounds out the Lady Tigers in 20th place. 
 
Carlee Shoemaker is the lone golfer at even par as she shot 72 to lead the tournament for Cumberlands. University of Pikeville's Boo Newsome and Cumberland University's Nathalie Nutu are both tied for second after 74s. 
 
The Lady Tigers finished fourth at the MSC Fall Championship hosted in Bowling Green County Club – the same venue for the Conference Championship which begins on Wednesday, May 5.
