BOWLING GREEN, KY – Sebastiano Musu was named the Mid-South Conference Freshmen of the Year.
 
Musu was able to lead the Tigers in the offensive side of the field with 11 goals and three assists and collecting 25 total points. 50 percent of the shots he has taken have been on goal throughout the season with 31.
 
Musu has caused defenses problems all season with the ball at his feet. He earned three penalty kicks on the season and converted on all three attempts. 
 
The Italian native had two separate matches with a hat trick. His first came back in September against Brescia University leading the Tigers to a 7-0 victory. The second came on February 23^rd against Life University when the Tigers came from behind to defeat Life University 4-2.
 
Musu becomes the fourth Tiger to be named Freshmen of the Year. He joins Casey Clark (2008), Jamie Allen (2010), and Ignacio Mangada (2016).
 
Sebastiano will look to lead the Tigers Friday April 9^th to avenge a regular season loss against Cumberland University in the conference quarterfinals.
