Whitney named NAIA Second Team, Blades earns Honorable Mention All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A day after being named NFCA All-Americans, the NAIA also announced Campbellsville's Ryley Whitney and Payton Blades earned the same honor for the association. 
 
Whitney was named a NAIA Second Teamer while Blades earned Honorable Mention. 

The All-American total for Campbellsville is now at 10 total with the last being named in 2018 (Click here for the list). 
 
Whitney led the Lady Tigers by hitting .444 with 15 doubles, nine home runs and 48 RBI. Her batting average finished third all-time in a single season and her total hits finished eighth. The 48 RBI is tied for 10th.
 
Blades hit .422 with 14 doubles, seven homers and 45 RBI. She also finished tied with the team-high in stolen bases (12-of-13). The .422 average is seventh all-time in the single season record books.
 
Campbellsville won its ninth Mid-South Conference regular season title and seventh MSC Tournament Championship after going 41-13 overall.
