CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Continuing their strong play to start this season, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team earned a sweep over the Knights of Kentucky Christian.
The Lady Tigers were tested midway through the last two sets, but finished the match: 25-8, 25-13 and 25-16. CU held the advantage in team stats with their .320 hitting percentage, 10 aces, 32 assists, 44 digs and five blocks.
Campbellsville had a strong showing from multiple Tigers.
Hannah McGill led the team with nine kills.

Alina Zellin (5),
Molly Shannon (5), and
Sonia Flendrich (5) each made an impact tonight.
Molly Shannon played a crucial role in the victory as well. She tallied 23 assists, eight digs, five kills and a hitting percentage of .833. Shannon came up big behind the line with four service aces and at the net too with her two block assists.
Campbellsville tallied 44 total digs in the match.
Salma Gonzalez-Sosa finished in double figures with 15 digs while Shannon added eight,
Katie Morin six, and
Sophie Ball with five.
The Lady Tigers get a week off before heading to New Albany, Indiana. CU will square off with Indiana University Southeast next Tuesday at 7 pm. ET. The match will be the last non-conference matchup of the season for Campbellsville.
