GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – The Campbellsville Tigers golf team took off down I-65 to compete in the Music City Invitational hosted by Cumberland University Monday afternoon. The Tigers managed to shoot their way into the top-two carding +31 as a team and taking 895 strokes through 3 rounds. The Tigers' spotlight finisher was Jonathan Brewington coming in 5th and just behind him was Seth Bohl T-10th.

Round one kicked off with three Tigers all knotted leading the group at +2 (74): Brewington who shot -1 on the front nine and +3 on the back nine, Landon Conner at +1 on both the front and back nine, and Dominic Ramsey who shot even then +2 on the back nine. Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers was Seth Bohl who shot +3 (75), Kevin Latchayya who shot +4 (76), Clay Barnett +14 (86), and Kobe Hill at +18 (90).

Most of the second round was played on Monday as well as the Tigers looked to improve on their 297 score from the first round and 3^rd place standing. Brewington came out swinging once again separating himself from the three-way tie between the Tigers in the first round. Brewington managed to card in at +1 (73). Bohl improved on his score by two strokes as he improved to +2 on the round (74). The round was finished for the Tigers by Conner and Hill both bringing in a score of +4 (76), Barnett with +5 (77), Latchayya +7 (79), and Ramsey at a +9 (81). That concluded day one action for the Tigers as they slipped in scoring moving into the 300's at 302.

Day two saw the final round of the 54-hole tournament. This round was an utter showing from the young golfer Hill coming out and shooting -3 (69). Following Hill was Brewington who stayed consistent and ended as the highest finishing Tiger in 5th place carding E (72). Bohl concluded the invite just inside the top-ten T-10^th, Conner and Ramsey were both T-21^st, Latchayya took 23^rd, Hill was T-31^st, and Barnett ended T-40^th.

Next for the Tigers will be the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament which will take place at Bowling Green Country Club. The first round will begin on October 30^th and play will conclude on November 1^st.
