CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.–– Campbellsville made quick work of Shawnee State Saturday evening with a 3-0 victory to secure their third win in a row.
The match was at a standstill in the early going with play being controlled in the midfield. The Lady Tigers took the lead in the 13th minute when the Bears had an own goal. Campbellsville maintained offensive supremacy as they continued to take shots while Shawnee state remained stagnant.
The Lady Tigers had three shots on frame and seven shots total in the half while the Bears had zero shots on goal and only two shots total.
Campbellsville scored swiftly in the second half as Kieh was assisted a pass toward the middle by Agatha Nimene in the 55th minute. Kieh asserted the Lady Tiger dominance with another goa less than five minutes later in the 60th minute.
Over the span of six minutes, Shawnee State had taken four shots to penetrate Campbellsville's score.
Campbellsville had totaled eight shtots on frame for the day and 14 total. Rirei Sasaki had a quiet evening in the net with only one save on the night.
The Lady Tigers will travel to Pikeville, Ky in pursuit of the Bears. The match is set for October 12th and will begin at 5:30 P.M ET.
