BOWLING GREEN, KY – The Tiger golf team travelled down to Bowling Green to take part in the Mid-South Conference Fall Championship. The Tigers finished the two-day tournament shooting +38 as a team through the 54-Hole tournament.
Round 1 for the Tigers was a bit rocky as they shot their highest round total of the whole tournament, shooting 307 as a team. Leading the way for the Tigers through the first round was Dominic Ramsey who shot +2 on the front nine and even on the back, bringing his round total to +2. Right behind him was the 5
th year senior
Seth Bohl, who shot +3 on the round. Kevin Latchayya finished the round at +6 but shot even on the back nine. Chase Wilson was next with a +7. Kobe Hill shot +8 and Jonathan Brewington rounded it out firing +9.
Round 2 was a big difference from the first with several Tigers finding their groove on the course. Campbellsville was able to card a 295 for their team score. Kevin Latchayya and Chase Wilson took care of business shooting -1 and were the top finishers for the Tigers. Following the pair was Kobe Hill shooting +1, following right behind was Jonathan Brewington and
Seth Bohl, carding +3 and +4, respectfully. Dominic Ramsey finished the round for the Tigers at +9.
Round 3, landed a 300 score for CU. Kobe Hill was able to put together another phenomenal round as he led the way shooting even par, finishing the tournament T-13.
Seth Bohl finished next for the Tigers shooting +2 on the round and finished his championship play also T-13
th. Chase Wilson followed at +3 for his final round and sat T-13
th. Jonathan Brewington finished next for the Tigers carding the round with a +4 score and he finished 36
th. Lastly, Kevin Latchayya and Dominic Ramsey finished the round both bringing in +6. Latchayya finished T-23
rd and Ramsey finished T-37
th.
The Tigers golf team finished tied for 3
rd as a team, as this concluded their fall campaign. CU will be back in action come Spring time, as they look to build on a very strong fall season.
