FAIRFIELD, OH – The Lady Tigers competed in the MSC Cincinnati Classic this past weekend for their second MSC tournament of the year. Mashayla Atherton placed second in JV scoring while the Varsity team finished eighth.
The Lady Tiger's Varsity team shot 7,890 pins down over the course of nine single games this past weekend to finish eighth out of 15 teams. Graduate
Shelbi Morris would lead the team finishing 16
th out of 136 bowlers, averaging 189 with a high game of 241. Closely following her would be senior Mirena Combs finishing 26
thaveraging 184.2.
Mashayla Atherton would lead the JV Lady Tigers to a third-place finish shooting 1,648 for the weekend and averaging 183.1. She finished 27
th overall and second in JV women's scores, just 11 pins shy of JV women's first place. The JV girls would shoot 7,611 to finish 127 pins below second place University of Pikeville JV 2, and 532 pins above the fourth-place team, University of the Cumberlands JV1.
