KANSAS CITY, MO – Lady Tigers sit at 20
th in the NAIA Top 25 Preseason Poll.
Last season Campbellsville completed the season with a record of 38-18. Lady Tigers were able to hit a hot streak in the month of March and April. In a 12-game streak they hit 29 homeruns and 135 RBI's while outscoring their opponents 141-26.
Campbellsville returns key pieces to their lineup this season including NFCA All-Region Team Members
Riley Hurst,
Lexi Miller, and
Katy Chadwell. Miller was named the NCCAA Player of the Year last season and Hurst was named NCCAA All-American.
Lady Tigers are not alone in the NAIA Top 25 in the Mid-South Conference. Freed-Hardeman leads the way at 5
th in the standings, University of the Cumberlands are 24
th, and Lindsey Wilson is receiving votes in the poll.
The team will open the season on the road when they face Georgia Gwinett on February 17
th and 18
th.
