SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Lady Tigers competed in the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial this past weekend for their third MSC tournament of the year, finishing 8
th out of 16 teams.
The Lady Tigers started strong Saturday where they bowled six single games. After two games, the Lady Tigers had four athletes in the top 35 for scores. As the tournament went longer and transition happened, it got much harder. By the end of Saturday,
Shelbi Morris finished 8
th out of 129 women with a high game of 238 coming in the last game.
Day two was much shorter consisting of 16 baker games where the girls started climbing back up the standings. With the field average for bakers being 2,759 pins, Campbellsville shot 2,881 to finish 8
th place.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action November 26-27 at the NAIA Invitational in Louisville, KY.
