Women's Bowling CU Athletics

Both bowling teams compete at Hoosier Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Both the men's and women's bowling teams of Campbellsville University ended their regular seasons competing at the Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana over the weekend. The Tigers took 30th in the 78-team field while the Lady Tigers captured 24th out of 65 teams.
 
The Tigers had Andrew McWhorter as their best individual competitor finishing 57th out of 578 men's bowlers (1,212 total pins averaging a score of 202 per game). Andrew Swift came in 136th with 1,134 pins and then Emanuel Casillas 1,126.
 
The Lady Tigers saw their top performer, Shelbi Morris, finish 36th of 479 female bowlers with a score of 1,172 over six games (averaging 195.33 points per contest). Following her was Morgan Stone at 102nd at 1,071 pins and Isabella Martinez at 140th with 1,022.
 
The Campbellsville University bowling teams will next compete in the ITC Intercollegiate Team Sectionals at the Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tennessee on March 12th and 13th.
