Miranda Denney named WBCA NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2021-22 season

ATLANTA, GA. – Miranda Denney keeps racking in the awards this postseason. Denney was named the WBCA NAIA Coach of the Year for the 2021-22 season.
 
Lady Tigers won the Mid-South Conference Tournament over Georgetown College back on February 28th 70-68. Campbellsville has made it to the Round of 16 defeating Rochester in the Round of 64 by a score of 85-62, and beating Benedictine in the Round of 32 with a score line of 74-44.
 
The WBCA Assistant Coach of the Year award is presented to one associate head coach or assistant coach in each membership division who demonstrates commitment to their program, their student-athletes and their head coach; their impact coaching on court; their mentorship and impact on other coaches; and their professional manner and attitude.

"Each coach was selected by vote of their peers, and the WBCA celebrates and applauds their lasting commitment to use our game as a platform to positively impact their student-athletes, institutions and communities."
 
The Assistant Coach of the Year award originated in 2016 and is presented annually. 
 
Campbellsville will play Dordt on Friday March 18th in Sioux City, Iowa at 7 p.m.
