SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Men's and Women's Bowling teams competed in their last tournament of the year this past weekend in Smyrna, Tennessee at the Smyrna Bowling Center. Both teams competed individually on Friday for the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championship Sectional Qualifier with six singles games. They then followed the weekend up with 64 baker games over the course of Saturday and Sunday.
For the Lady Tigers, Senior
Shelbi Morris finished 5
th out of 170 women bowlers, shooting a 1,247 (+47) at the ISC on Friday. Senior
Morgan Stone was the closest bowler to her finishing 82
nd and shooting a 1,042 (-158). Morris will be heading to Nationals April 20
th through the 23
rd at Stardust Lanes in Addison, Illinois. She will compete against the other 23 top-finishing women bowlers from around the country.
The Lady Tigers finished 13
th out of 16 teams competing during the ITC on Saturday and Sunday. They had a long and memorable weekend as their four seniors

Dionne McArthur had an end to their collegiate careers.
For the Tigers, Sophomore
Ambrose Shirk finished the highest for the ISC, placing 13
th out of 174 male bowlers on Friday. He shot 1m190 (-10) for six qualifying games, just 68 pins away from the cut to make Nationals in April. Senior
Andrew McWhorter was not too far behind and placed 20
th shooting a 1,172 (-28).
For the team event, the Tigers placed 18
th out of 20 teams competing. They had a long and memorable weekend as their three seniors
