MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Lady Tigers began their 2022 spring play with competition at the Showdown of Legends Sunday morning. Campbellsville carded 986 (341-327-318) for a sixth-place finish.
The weather was quite chilly at the Legends Resort. The Parkland course is a par-72, 5,905-yard layout. Abigail Coffey was the highest performing Lady Tiger taking 12
th of the 60 participants with a 238 (82-82-74) for +22.
Gracie Parrott (83-82-81) and
Connor Geralds (85-77-84) both ended the third round tied for 22
nd with +30.
Cortney Withrow (+40) was 30
th,
Paige Ferguson (+47) carded T-34
th,
Ayaka Iwagishi (+51) came in T-41
st in her first appearance in the 2021-2022 season, and
April Houk (+58) rounded out the Lady Tigers T-46
th.
The Campbellsville women's golf team can next be found at the Wolfpack Invitational in New Orleans. That event will begin Monday, March 21
st.
