NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Tigers went down to Bayou Oaks at City Park in New Orleans to play in the Wolfpack Invitational earlier this week. The Campbellsville men held firm in fifth place until the third round when they caught up to William Carey to finish tied for fourth.
Austin Mahoney was awarded All-Tournament after his second-place finish shooting +4 for the invitational. He was tied for the most birdies over the three rounds with nine total. Mahoney carded a 77 in the opener but then bounced back with a stellar 70 in the second round. He closed out the competition with a 73 and five strokes ahead of third.
The other Tiger to finish top ten was
Kobe Hill with a 76-77-77 to tie for ninth. Hill himself was able to sink five birdies during the invitational. Both
Jon Brewington (77-80-80) and
Seth Bohl (81-81-75) tied for 18
th trailing their Campbellsville teammates.
