WILLIAMSBURG, KY – Campbellsville was unable to get things going throughout the warm day in Williamsburg with the Patriots sweeping the Tigers 7-0 on the road.
Jan Stolin and
Satoshi Yamada came close to a victory in ones during doubles play. The duo fell (4-6).
Sebastian Toledo and
Nicolas Andrade had a similar score line but could not finish off their opponent and also falling (4-6).
Yamada was the only Tiger who was able to come close to a near victory during singles play Wednesday afternoon. Yamada pushed his match to three sets after coming back in the second set. The final score of the match was (6-7, 6-2, 10-4) in favor of Cumberlands Martin Muller.
Campbellsville will look to get back in the win column on Saturday April 2
nd when they face the University of Pikeville. First serve is schedule to be at 3 p.m. at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
