CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY – Campbellsville falls in a close matchup against the Pikeville Bears Saturday afternoon 4-3.
Hernan Toledo and
Nicolas Verdu were able to get things started for the Tigers with a (6-3) win in doubles play.
Sebastian Toledo and
Nicolas Andrade were the next pair to earn a victory. The duo were able to win their matchup in (7-5).
Pikeville was able to rally in singles play with only two Campbellsville athletes earning wins in the matches.
Satoshi Yamada and
Nicolas Weisner won both of theirs with Yamada winning (6-3, 6-4) and Weisner winning (6-3, 6-0).
The Tigers will aim to get back to their winning ways when the Battle of Highway 55 comes to town when they face Lindsey Wilson on Wednesday April 6
th for a 2 p.m. matchup.
