Lady Tigers couldn't hold on down the stretch and fall on the road 5-2 to Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG, KY – Lady Tigers lead through doubles play but fall down the stretch in singles on the road to University of the Cumberlands 5-2.
 
Oriana Espinoza and Angela Mendoza got the first win in doubles play in the one spot. They won in (6-4). Madison Hill and Ariadna Perez had the biggest victory at threes. The duo were able to take down their opponent in (6-2).
 
During singles play the Lady Tigers were unable to get things going. Campbellsville was only able to pick up one singles victory on the afternoon. Perez didn't have any trouble in the three spot as she won (6-1, 6-0). 
 
Mendoza was the only other athlete who did not fall in straight sets. She was able to push the match to a third set after winning in the second but would fall (4-6, 6-4, 3-6).
 
Campbellsville will return home Saturday April 2nd when the Pikeville Bears come to town. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
