DES MOINES, IA – Campbellsville's post season run comes to a halt in the NAIA Semifinal match against Grand View Friday evening 3-1.
Grand View who is the overall no. 1 seed faced Campbellsville who came in as the no. 12 seed and the Tigers kept each set close to the chest the whole time with two sets going to extra points to decide the winner of the set (22-25, 24-26, 25-22, 29-31).
Campbellsville was led by once again
Jason Camacho with 15 kills while
Bastian Korreck backed up Camacho with double digit kills having 10 on the night.
Niklas Held came close to having double digit kills with nine on the evening.
Ryan Smith had a double double on his night with 37 assists and 14 digs.
Jay Montalvo had a big night defensively collecting 15 digs.
Eric Heller was one who was a force at the net with eight total blocks including four solo blocks.
Campbellsville finishes the year 23-8 and was the Mid-South Conference runner-up and an NAIA Semifinalist.
