WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Tigers sit in sixth place after day one of the Mid-South Conference Championships.
 
The 4x800m relay was the lone podium finisher for the team this afternoon. Sam Kiser, Aiden Tucker, Dakota Brady, and Alexander Steen were able to cross the line in third place overall running a time of 7:50.60, just two seconds off an NAIA Standard. 
 
Elijah Moore and Chance Lucas made their way into the 100m final on Monday. Moore was the fifth fastest in the field at 10.80 while Lucas was close behind in sixth at 10.90.
 
Jackson Harrell made up for loss ground after not making the 100m final by qualifying for the 200m final. Harrell is going in with the seventh best time ran today at 21.97.
 
Jarrett Crawford came on strong in the final few laps of the 3,000m steeplechase. Crawford crossed the line in fifth place running a 10:26.44.
 
Shawn Little made a closing move in the final few laps to put himself in position to place fourth overall at 33:53.07. 
 
Jonah Oliver got on the board in the hammer throw. Oliver placed eighth in the event with a mark of 38.19m. In javelin, Crawford and Seth Cartwright earned key points for the Tigers. Crawford missed a podium spot placing fourth overall with a mark of 44.30m while Cartwright was sixth at 41.47m.
 
Blake Skaggs walked away with one point in the pole vault while hitting a height of 3.05m. Corey Smith was the lone jumper to score for Campbellsville with a seventh place mark of 6.68m. 
 
Campbellsville will look to make up ground on day two of the Mid-South Conference Championships on Monday May 2^nd.
