BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The #20 Campbellsville women's golf team carded a third-place finish at the 2022 Mid-South Conference Women's Championship at the Bowling Green Country Club Tuesday afternoon. First-year head coach Rick Davis was named MSC Coach of the Year.

After the first two rounds, Campbellsville was tied for first but slipped to third in the final round. Connor Geralds led the way for the Lady Tigers with a T-7th finish at +16 (76-75-81). Gracie Parrott and Abbie Coffey were next with both ending the event T-11th at +18. Paige Ferguson climbed from T-25th to T-17th the second day with a +5 performance for +25 (76-88-77) in the tournament. Cortney Withrow was T-24^th, had a career-high in the second-round swinging three-over-par, and posted the only Campbellsville eagle in the championship.

Before his first season at the helm of the men's and women's golf teams at Campbellsville, Rick Davis had been the head coach for the Green County High School girls golf team since 2003 up until this past season where the Lady Dragons won KHSAA State Championships in 2009 and 2010 while earning All A Classic Championships in 2009, 2011, and 2012. GCHS also earned KHSAA State Runner-Up in 2008, 2011, and 2016 while being the All A Classic Runner-Up in 2010, 2016, and 2018.
