KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Lady Tigers landed in the #25 spot in the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Postseason Poll of the 2022 season.
Campbellsville finished their season with a 38-18 overall record and finished 23-5 in the Mid-South Conference. During the season the Lady Tigers were able to rattle off 16 straight wins from March 25
th until April 19
th.
CU was able to make a little bit of noise in the Mid-South Conference Tournament by pulling out two comeback wins against Bethel University (Tenn.) and Tennessee Southern. Campbellsville would then be bested by #12 Lindsey Wilson 11-5 in the tournament.
The Lady Tigers earned their 7
th straight bid into the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round in 2022. They would finish their season against #9 Central Methodist with a close 5-4 loss.
Campbellsville is not the only Mid-South Conference school to finish in the Top 25 Postseason Poll. They are joined by # 5 Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) and #18 Lindsey Wilson College.
