PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Tigers traveled to play in the Dalton State Invite in Palm Harbor, Florida on September 26
th. The tournament finished with the Tigers carding +32 as a team and finishing 6
th through two rounds.
In the first round of action, the Tigers found quite a bit of success in
Seth Bohl, the 5
th year senior. Bohl came out and shot +1 on the front nine and dominated the back nine shooting -2. Bohl also had help in the match from Kevin Latchayya who had some struggles on the front nine shooting +4 but found his stride in the back nine coming in at -2, Latchayya finished round one at +2. Jonathan Brewington shot +6,
Landon Conner finished +9,
Kobe Hill carded +10, and finally
Dominic Ramsey was at +11. The Tigers brought in the round at 300 strokes and in 10
th place.
The Tigers through round two were led by Latchayya who managed to shoot +3, carding a +1 in the front nine and a +2 in the back nine. Bohl and Brewington followed closely behind shooting +4. Brewington was consistent in front and back shooting +2 in both. Bohl struggled a bit in the front nine bringing in a +3, but found his stride in the back nine shooting 1 over par. Scoring for the Tigers was rounded out by Conner who brought in +5, following closely behind him was Ramsey with a score of +6, and finally to finish off the Tigers scoring was Hill who finished his round at +9.
The third round of the tournament was not played due to implications from Hurricane Ian.
Bohl was the highest finishing Tiger as he finished the tournament T-7
th (+3), followed by Latchayya who finished T-14
th(+5), Brewington T-41
st (+10), Conner T-65
th (+14), Ramsey T-81
st (+17), and finally Hill T-88
th (+19).
The Tigers will hit the links once again in Goodlettsville, Tennessee as they take part in the Cumberland University Invite on October 2
nd.
