Tigers tame #20 Thomas More, 35-7

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The #9 Tigers sought to hold down their home mat against Mid-South Conference foe #20 Thomas More Saturday afternoon. They did just that, victorious in five of the seven matches and outscoring the Saints, 35-7.

Izaeah Beavers kicked off the dual in a big way, having his hand raised in a 10-6 decision over #21 Shay Horton. After a Thomas More forfeit, Campbellsville rattled off three more wins: Cole Fort's 6-0 decision, Gavin Andreoni's sudden victory, and Antonio Burns' major decision. #8 Gavin Smith went to war against #9 Wilder Wichman but came up short in a 3-2 decision. The Tigers' final win came in a major decision victory for Brice Parks, 10-2. #7 Daulton Mayer was able to best #17 Jaden Sonner, 8-0.

Campbellsville's next destination is Marshall, Missouri for the Missouri Valley Invitational January 20th through the 21st.
