WICHITA, Kan. – The Campbellsville University men's wrestling team closed out an electrifying season with a 9th-place team finish at the 2026 NAIA National Championships in Wichita, Kansas. The Tigers roared on the national stage, gathering four All-Americans: #8
Shad Slone (174 lbs.), who secured his fourth All-American honor; #10
Izaeah Beavers (133 lbs.) and #3
Nik Yancey (149 lbs.), each earning their third; and #4
Jasitin Kubwimana (165 lbs.), claiming his first career All-American status.

His championship bracket run ended in the quarterfinals with a fall to #2 Gabe Gonzales (Grand View) at 2:44. Beavers stormed through the consolation bracket, scoring a 6:43 fall over Alex Tabor (Lindsey Wilson) and a 14-3 major decision against #16 Tuvshinjarg Zuunbayan (Missouri Valley). A narrow 9-8 decision loss to #5 Nick Alayan (Rochester Christian) in the consolation semifinals sent him to the fifth-place match, where he fell 11-4 to #4 Vincent Citrano (Oklahoma City), leaving Beavers in sixth place.
149 Pounds: #3 Nik Yancey – 5th Place
#3 Yancey blasted through the opening rounds, securing a 20-4 technical fall over Brody Brisker (William Penn) and an 8-2 decision over #14 Kris Arrey (Missouri Valley). He continued his run with a 7-2 decision against #6 Mario De La Torre (Southeastern). Following a 10-7 semifinal loss to #2 Elijah Larsen (Grand View), Yancey moved to the consolation semifinals, where he fell to #1 Kaden Fetterolf (Oklahoma City) via a 22-6 technical fall. Yancey bounced back to finish strong, winning the fifth-place match via medical forfeit against #8 Carlos Stanton (Arizona Christian) to cement his All-American standing.
157 Pounds: #13 Antwaun Burns
#13 Burns faced a tough draw, dropping a hard-fought 9-6 decision to Drake Jenkins (Central Methodist) in the opening round. Moving to the consolation bracket, he was narrowly edged out 6-5 by Emmanuel Celestine (Lindsey Wilson).
165 Pounds: #4 Jasitin Kubwimana – 7th Place
#4 Kubwimana opened with a commanding 24-9 technical fall over Cole Price (Concordia) before securing an 11-5 decision against #13 Jordan Lomeli (Oklahoma City). After a tightly contested 8-7 quarterfinal loss to #5 Alexander Couto (Life), he fought through the consolation bracket, recording a 1:07 fall over Blaze Sumiye (Providence). Kubwimana then captured seventh place with a gritty 12-10 decision over #3 Zander Ernst (Morningside).
174 Pounds: #8 Shad Slone – 7th Place
#8 Slone started his tournament with a medical forfeit win over Ronald Butler (Keiser) and a dominant 1:55 fall over #9 Leonardo Galasso (Arizona Christian). Following a quarterfinal defeat to #1 Tate Picklo (Oklahoma City) via a 19-4 technical fall, Slone rebounded in the consolation rounds with a 15-0 technical fall shutout over Jeivan Ross (Marian). Despite an 8-5 decision loss to #5 Reese Jones (Life), Slone clinched seventh place with a 10-3 decision over #12 Jagger Tyler (Dakota Wesleyan). This performance marked Slone's 104th career victory and cemented his legacy as a four-time All-American.
184 Pounds: #16 Brice Parks
#16 Parks faced a challenging bracket at 184 pounds. In the opening round, he fell 8-1 to Justin Bartee (Rio Grande). Moving into the consolation bracket, Parks was narrowly defeated 1-0 in a defensive battle against Mid-South Conference rival Lane Kiser (Cumberlands).
197 Pounds: #15 Ashton Boswell
#15 Boswell began his national championship run with a 10-4 decision over Asaiah Kamplain (Corban) but fell in the second round to #2 Gio Jackson (Life) by a 17-4 major decision. He battled back in the consolation bracket with a dominant 20-4 technical fall over Aaron Riner (Reinhardt) before his tournament concluded with a 20-7 major decision loss to #10 Jaren Jackson (Doane).
