Top-ten finishes for both Campbellsville bowling teams at the Brandon Burns Memorial

SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Campbellsville University Bowling teams traveled to Smyrna, Tennessee, to take part in the Brandon Burns Memorial on Sunday.

For the women's team, the Lady Tigers placed 9th out of 16 teams. Emily Readnour paced the Lady Tigers, placing 15th individually with a 188.6 average. Readnour bowled 218, 184, 167, 199, and 175 out of five games, respectively. Mirena Combs and Payton Pollard finished back-to-back, placing 35th and 36th individually. Combs and Pollard both had a 173.2 average. Out of five games, Combs bowled 154, 199, 161, 175, and 177, while Pollard bowled 159, 149, 225, 141, and 192.

As for the men's team, the Tigers placed 10th out of 17 teams. Andrew Swift led the way for the Tigers with a top-ten finish, placing 7th individually with a 215.4 average. Swift bowled 224, 213, 252, 192, and 196 out of five games. Not far behind, Ambrose Shirk placed 15th individually with a 206 average. Out of five games, Shirk bowled 211, 218, 227, 209, and 165.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, November 4th, in Marietta, Georgia, to compete in the Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic.
