BOWLING GREEN, KY – Camryn Rich leads the Tigers in the regular season awards, being named the Mid-South Conference Setter of the Year for the 2023 season. 

Campbellsville has now brought in back-to-back setters of the year. Paige Merrick earned the award during the 2022 season. Rich has collected 1,022 assists during the regular season, averaging 9.6 assists per set. She is currently ranked 23rd in the nation in assists. Rich also leads the team in total digs with 350. 

Rich was named to the First Team along with Brooke Hager, Cierra Merrick, and Molly Shannon. Hannah McGill and Taylor Thacker were named to the Second Team.

The trio of Hager, Merrick, and Shannon has been the primary attacking force for Campbellsville all season. Merrick has 281 kills, Hager has 251, and Shannon brought in 235. Merrick and Shannon have turned the defense into their offensive gains. Cierra had 223 digs in the regular season, while Shannon had 244. Hager leads the team in total blocks this season with 110. 

McGill has 149 total kills in the 2023 regular season. She has also collected 77 digs and 31 total blocks. Thacker has a team-leading 33 aces in 2023 and is third on the team in digs with 273.

Campbellsville won the Mid-South Conference regular season title and has a first-round bye in the conference tournament. They will play the winner of Lindsey Wilson and Bethel on Friday, November 10th, at 4 p.m. ET.
