SAN JUAN, P.R. – The #3 Lady Tigers traveled to Puerto Rico to battle the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Tigers on Tuesday and the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Tarzans on Wednesday. Campbellsville came back home from Puerto Rico with two victories under their belt and several new season- and career-highs.

The Lady Tigers' offense remained resilient in the game's development, scoring nearly double or triple as much as the opposing Tigers in every quarter, resulting in Campbellsville more than doubling Interamerican in the final score.
As a team, Campbellsville surpassed Interamerican with 59 rebounds to their 21 and 31 assists to their 16. Lauren Lee had five steals, and Tyra Flowers had three steals (both season-highs). Three players reached double digits, Kaitlynn Wilks and Kayla Luebbe with 18 points each and Elizabeth Bertram with 13.
GAME: Campbellsville 90, Puerto Rico-Mayagüez 58
Throughout the development of the game, both teams kept well-rotated lineups, although the Lady Tigers nearly doubled the Tarzans in bench points, collecting 48 to their 26. Campbellsville also shot the ball from a closer range than Puerto Rico - Mayagüez, with 38 points in the paint to their 12.
As a team, much like their last game, Campbellsville once again outnumbered Puerto Rico - Mayagüez with 66 rebounds to their 29 and 30 assists to their 12. A few Lady Tigers also recorded new career-highs during Wednesday's contest: Wilks with 27 points and 12 rebounds, Luebbe with 25 points, and Whitney Hay with 13 rebounds.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action, taking the road to Pikeville, Kentucky, on Saturday, December 30th, to go against the University of Pikeville Bears beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
