RICHMOND, KY – The Tigers showed a lot of promise this weekend at Eastern Kentucky with multiple season bests and personal bests.
Shawn Little led the way for Campbellsville with a PR in the 5,000m run in a time of 15:04.691. Little finished in a tie for 8th overall with Bellarmine's Ryan Burchett, who also ran 15:04.691.
Dakota Brady came in 12th in the 1500m at 4:06.70. Alex Steen ran an open 800m PR in 2:00.17, placing 16th.
Gregory Carr dipped under his personal best in the 400m hurdles finishing in 4th place and a time of 57.77 which is a .29 second PR. Carr led the way for three more Campbellsville athletes.
Ishan Cooper finished in 12th place in 1:01.18,
William Riley was 15th at 1:02.12, and
Zahnte' Brown finished in 17th in 1:09.42.
Joshua Morris was the top Tiger in the 400m coming in 15th overall with a time of 52.00.
Jonah Oliver doubled up on his day in the discus and hammer throw. In the discus, Oliver placed 12th with a mark of 36.72m, while in the hammer, he was 13th in 37.97m.
The Tigers will return to the track on Friday and Saturday, April 28th and 29th, when they travel to the Kentucky Open in Lexington, KY.
