Track & Field has 9 student athletes earn NAIA Scholar Athlete honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Currently in the midst of participating in the 71st NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, the Campbellsville Track Field teams have a combined nine Tigers named Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes. 

Samuel Bennett, Alexander Steen, Brandon IrvinBrooke Coffman, Nina Daman, Jamila Garba, Macie Russell, Christy Shank, and Madison Welch were all announced as 2023 NAIA Scholar Athletes.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
