Macklin, 4x400m relay complete day two of NAIA Championships

MARION, IN – The Tigers rounded out day two of competition at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday.

Kilan Macklin started the day off for Campbellsville in the long jump. Macklin was unable to get his steps down for a decent jump. He was, however, able to get a mark on his second attempt of the day landing at 6.28m.

In the 4x400m relay, Campbellsville had Miah Chatmond starting off the relay in the blocks. Chatmond put the team in a good position for success later on in the relay. Darionta Bell, Campbell Rawlings, and Maikyah Stowe rounded out the relay to finish in a time of 3:21.76 placing 21st overall.

Campbellsville will finish out their season on Friday for day three of the national championship in the men's triple jump beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. CamRon Hamby and Corey Smith are set to compete in the event.
