CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – April Higdon of Campbellsville has been named the Head Coach of Cheerleading, Athletic Director Jim Hardy announced Monday.

"I am very excited to coach at Campbellsville University and share my love for cheer and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," Higdon shared. "What a great opportunity to lead an amazing group of athletes!"

Higdon has been involved with Cheerleading for many years, including six years as a coach. She is currently a teacher at Taylor County High School. She is married to Charles Higdon and they have three children: Cailee, Maci, and Trace.
