CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University has hired Madison York to take the reins of the Cheerleading program, Athletic Director Adam Preston announced Tuesday.

York is an experienced cheer and gymnastics coach, serving as head cheerleading coach at North Hardin High School and, most recently, operating as the owner, coach, and instructor of Madison's Tumbling and Rogue Athletics.

"I'm so excited and grateful for the opportunity to join Campbellsville University Cheer as Head Coach," York shared. "I'm looking forward to working with this talented group of athletes, building on the traditions of CU Cheer, and creating a positive and successful season together. I'm incredibly thankful to be here and can't wait to see what we will accomplish. Go Tigers!"

A local graduate, York earned her bachelor's degree in P-5 Elementary Education from Lindsey Wilson University in 2022.
