ATHENS, Ala. – The Tigers went down to Alabama to play in the University of Tennessee Southern hosted Firehawk Invitational to begin the week. They ended the second round second with freshman Carson Childress pacing the team with his second-place finish.

Childress was -2 for the event, shooting under for the first round and even to end things. His teammate Kevin Latchayya finished fourth, going +2 in the opening round and then -2 in the final run through to exit the invite even. Chase Wilson was the next Campbellsville golfer in 25th at +10 for the invitational. Corentin Hue was T-26th and Kobe Hill was 32nd.

The Tigers will now prepare for the Dalton State Invite beginning Monday, September 25th.
