CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Tigers hosted the #10 University of the Cumberlands Patriots on Thursday night. Despite Campbellsville's high-shot offensive efforts, Cumberlands took the victory, 1-0.
The Patriots were first on the scoreboard, scoring the first goal of the game within five minutes of kick-off. At the end of the first half, the Tigers had yet to score, closing the first period trailing 1-0.
Nicolo Lanari, Eduardo de Filippis, and Diego Chainho each collected shot after shot, but Cumberlands' defense prevented them from connecting. Unable to score, Campbellsville lost the match, 1-0.
The Tigers will be back in action Saturday, October 12th traveling to Louisville, Kentucky to battle the Boyce College Bulldogs starting at 8 p.m. ET.

- Makwe Nkoana led the Tigers with four shots. Additionally, Malte Schou collected three saves throughout the contest.
- Campbellsville surpassed Cumberlands with 17 shots to their nine, and seven corners to their three.
- Tonight's game marks the Tigers' third consecutive loss against the Patriots. The last time Campbellsville won a match against Cumberlands was during the 2022 season.
