Krstic gets Mid-South Conference Setter of the Year, 6 earn All-Conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Jana Krstic earned Mid-South Conference Setter of the Year honors for the 2024 season, while six Tigers earned All-Conference, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Krstic has 1,237 assists so far this season, heading into the Mid-South Conference Tournament. She has been named the Mid-South Conference Setter of the Week six times throughout the 2024 season. She is fifth on the team in overall digs on the season. Krstic earned First Team All-Conference honors this season.

Campbellsville has now had the last three Mid-South Conference Setter of the Year awards go in their favor. Paige Merrick earned it in 2022 and assistant coach Camryn Rich earned it in 2023. 

Cierra Merrick earns her third First Team All-Conference honor of her career this season. On the offensive side of the ball she leads the team in kills this season with 362. Defensively, she is fourth on the team in digs with 353 and 36.0 blocks on the year.

Emily Aabye garnered her first All-Conference honor making it to the First Team this season. Out of the gate, Aabye has been one of the Tigers go to athletes on the offensive side with 337 total kills in 2024. Aabye has given the Tigers 38.0 blocks while having 7.0 solo blocks.

Senior Erica Rosario Calderon is the final athlete to make it to the First Team All-Conference team for Campbellsville. Calderon has 194 kills heading into the Mid-South Conference tournament. Calderon's most effective stat for the Tigers this season has been at the net. She has a team leading 79.0 blocks on the year and 27.0 solo blocks. 

Brooke Hager and Marisa Gallardo earned Second Team All-Conference in 2024. This is Hager's second All-Conference appearance of her career. Hager had 179 kills and 83.0 total blocks this year. Gallardo led the team defensively this year with 376 digs and had 21 total service aces. 

Campbellsville squares off against Bethel University on Thursday, November 7th, in Bowling Green, KY, at Bowling Green High School in the Mid-South Conference quarterfinal round. That match is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
