GREENVILLE, S.C. –
Jana Krstic was named the American Volleyball Coaches' Association NCCAA Player of the Year while also earning First Team All-American, and
Cierra Merrick earned Second Team All-American honors.
Krstic had 1,320 assists for the 2024 season while starting in all 34 matches for the Tigers this season. Krstic also earned the Mid-South Conference Setter of the Year award for the 2024 season. Campbellsville has had the last three Mid-South Conference Setter's of the Year.
Merrick completed her career for Campbellsville this season. She started in all 34 matches for the Tigers in 2024, and led the team with 384 kills. Merrick was second on the team in digs with 393.
To end the season, Campbellsville brought in numerous awards. Krstic earned AVCA NCCAA Player of the Year, NCCAA All-American 1st Team, AVCA NCCAA All-American 1st Team, NCCAA Mideast Region Player of the Year, NCCAA Mideast Region 1st Team. Merrick earned AVCA NAIA All-American Southeast Region Honorable Mention, NCCAA All-American 2nd Team, AVCA NCCAA All-American 2nd Team, and NCCAA Mideast Region 1st Team.
Erica Rosario Calderon earned NCCAA Mideast Region 1st Team,
Emily Aabye was named NCCAA Mideast Region 2nd Team,
Marisa Gallardo and
Molly Shannon named NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
Peyton Johnston was named the NCCAA Mideast Region Coach of the Year.
The Tigers finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 22-12.
