Box Score KISSIMMEE, Fl.- The Campbellsville Tigers battled the Trinity Christian College Trolls on Wednesday Night. The Tigers dropped out of the NCCAA Championship with a loss, 3-1.
The Trolls were first on the scoreboard with a header goal ten minutes into the match. Fabio Barbosa, Jarred Hendricks, and Gustav Oskarsson attempted to retaliate but were unable to score the first goal for the Tigers. Trinity Christian struck with another goal, amplifying their lead. At the end of the first half, Campbellsville trailed, 2-0.
The Tigers struggled to catch up in the opening of the second half. The Trolls scored their third goal quickly. A penalty kick by Nicolo Lanari put Campbellsville on the scoreboard. At the end of the game, the Tigers fell to Trinity Christian, 3-1.
