Track & Field posts 10 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Campbellsville University Track & Field squads hosted ten NAIA Scholar Athletes for the 2023-24 year, the national office announced Monday.

The student-athletes were: Makiyah Allen, Anna Claire Carwile, Nina Daman, Jamila Garba, Madison Welch, Sam Bennett, Luke Burton, Trevor Hansen, Zackary Phelps, and Alex Steen.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
